What Inspired You To Become A Nurse?

“I was inspired by a deep passion for caring for others and making a difference. I have always admired the wonderful work nurses do and the strength and compassion nurses show.”

What Is Your Current Position?

“I am currently working as a Midwife Specialist.”

How Many Years Have You Been A Nurse?

“I have been a nurse for 10 years. I have extensive experience in both the labour ward and postnatal care.”

What Is The Most Rewarding Part Of Your Job?

“Witnessing the joy and relief when the baby is delivered. Also the pivotal role in ensuring a safe delivery and the care we give to mums. I therefore enjoy every day.”

Name One Time I Made You Proud To Be A Nurse.

“The Proudest moment for me was helping a mother during a very difficult labour and with patience, team work and encouragement we helped to achieve a safe delivery.”

How Do You Keep Motivated During Challenging Times?

“I remind myself that every action, no matter how small, has an impact on someone’s life.”

What Advice Would You Give To Someone Considering Nursing As A Career?

“Nursing is a calling of the heart. It requires patience, resilience and compassion, rewards are immeasurable.”
