What Inspired You To Become A Nurse?

“The desire to help those who are unable to take care of themselves. Having to take care of my uncle when he was fighting cancer till his last days and always loved nursing as a career when I saw nurses in uniform”

“Enrolled Nurse (Anaesthetic Nurse in Theatre)”

“10 years and 3 months”

What Is The Most Rewarding Part Of Your Job?

“Seeing a patient smile after you’ve helped them. Hearing a patient saying thank you with a smile and gratefulness in their eyes. Sleeping peaceful at night knowing I made a difference in someone’s life”

Name One Time I Made You Proud To Be A Nurse.

“When I advocated for a patient which there was language barrier, of which she could have been a done an operation of which she didn’t have a clear understanding due to language barrier and was afraid to inform the doctor and that operation was going to affect her for her whole life”

How Do You Keep Motivated During Challenging Times?

“I think about the patient that’s needs care because they are the reason I chose this profession and the reason for waking up in the morning, the rest I just pray God gives me strength to pull through even under difficult situations”
