Our client, a Medical Devices Company, has a vacancy for a Technology Associate based in Bloemfontein, the Technology Associate will report to the Regional Sales Manager
Job Description
- Develop & understand how to maintain and develop current business and seeking new business.
- Sales and Marketing of all products in the designated range.
- Attending theatre cases to learn and develop and to apply this learning in a theatre environment and when ready give technical support in the operating theatre when required.
- Ensure full compliance during any hospital procedure, the SAMED code of conduct & CRICE.
- Prepare, review and update surgeon preference lists including quotes.
- Develop knowledge of how to conduct customer calls to drive business growth.
- Acquire the skill to lead the development of existing and new accounts.
- Plan and co-ordinate sales calls and strategies.
- Ongoing training of surgeons, registrars, and theatre staff.
- Activities should satisfy quantitative and qualitative objectives set out in annual sales plan for the territory.
Minimum Requirements
- A minimum of a BSc Degree in Human Movement/ Health Sciences.
- 0 – 1 year’s sales experience will receive preference.
- Current sales interns in the business are encouraged to apply.
- A high quality of communication, planning and time management skills required.
- Good relationship building, networking, coaching, facilitating and feedback skills.
- Valid code 08 driver’s license & own reliable transport.
- Able to work after hours & weekends.
- Reside in Bloemfontein.
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office package including Outlook.
