Job Description
- Conduct psychological assessments and develop individualised treatment plans
- Provide individual therapy sessions (CBT, DBT, trauma-focused therapy, etc.)
- Facilitate group therapy and psychoeducational sessions
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, counsellors, and medical staff on integrated care
- Monitor patient progress and adjust interventions accordingly
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and case notes
- Participate in family therapy and support programs when required
- Contribute to relapse prevention strategies and aftercare planning
Minimum Requirements
- Master’s or Doctorate in Clinical or Counselling Psychology
- Registration with HPCSA (Health Professions Council of South Africa)
- Minimum 2–5 years’ experience in rehabilitation centres, psychiatric hospitals, or community mental health settings
- Experience with international clients is advantageous

- Strong grounding in clinical or counselling psychology
- Expertise in addiction treatment, trauma therapy, and dual diagnosis care
- Excellent communication and empathy skills for diverse client backgrounds
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
