Preparing and executing company Diagnostic products strategy within a local and export territory to ensure company strategies and sales targets achieved.
Job Description
- To prepare and execute the company diagnostic product portfolio strategy to existing and new customers
- Set a marketing strategy to achieve the required growth in company’s diagnostic products nationally.
- To solve customer queries and complaints
- To provide customer and sales team with relevant product information and training
- To conduct sales and follow-up calls along with sales team
- Continuous relationship building with all stakeholders
- Plan new product launches as well as ad hoc CPD accredited trainings or events
- Management of stock in terms of approved inventory policy to ensure adequate stock is ordered, no stock outs, over stock or expiries
- Compile and submit relevant reports – internal as well as to suppliers.
- Planning and control of relevant industry congresses
- Attend relevant industry congresses
- Provision of relevant marketing support documentation to sales team.
- Monthly promotional strategies to be determined and executed in support of Business Unit Manager and team.
- Handling of product defects / recalls where necessary
- Monitoring of consignment stocks as well as rotation to ensure adequate stock on site and no expiry write offs incurred.
- Collecting and presentation of key market trends and market data such as market size and competitor market shares and positioning.
- Monitoring various portals for advertised tenders and the actioning thereof together with the Tender coordinator for timely completion and submission.
Minimum Requirements
- Strong background within the Diagnostic and IVD environment
- Relevant academic qualifications
- At least 3 years sales and product management experience within relevant market segment
- Experience in new business development, sales and marketing required
- Established Key relationships within this territory
- Fluent in English
- Excellent presentation skills

- Valid drivers’ licence
