Job Overview

This is a full-time, permanent position based in the Western Cape, reporting to the Regional Sales & Operations Manager (Western Cape). The successful incumbent will work with clinicians, nursing staff and allied health to promote IPC solutions. This will include identifying customer needs and opportunities, presenting product information, and utilizing sales experience to achieve revenue targets.  In addition, the ASE will work with other Sales Specialists, Clinical Educators and Marketing to ensure successful product training and implementations, with a focus on both growing and maintaining the territory

 

Job Description

  • Developing the company’s footprint and sales across the Western Cape Region
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to promote IPC solutions to healthcare professionals, hospitals, and clinics
  • Taking ownership of the territory to drive sales and growth
  • Developing relationships with key opinion leaders in clinical and purchasing areas, as well as C-Suite executives
  • Achieving revenue targets across the product range
  • Managing key projects
  • Maintaining market and competitor analysis, and providing regular feedback
  • Providing training, presentations, in-services and education to end users
  • Ensure product and concept knowledge (Disinfection, Infusion Therapy, Wound and Stoma Care, etc.)  Is always up to date.

 

Minimum Requirements

  • BSc Degree, Nursing or related healthcare qualification
  • Proven experience of a minimum of 3 to 4 years in medical sales
  • Experience in wound care will be an advantage
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively within a large geographical region.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the region
