To manage the activities of the unit and all staff to ensure that the Clinic is run in an effective and efficient way and that all patients receive the accepted standard care.
Job Description
- Managing, supervising and delegation of nursing staff within their scope of practice
- Liaise with other members of the multi-disciplinary team
- Support in terms of training and development of nursing staff
- Ensure the quality levels are adhered to
- Coordinate and supervise group therapy sessions
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing with Psych qualification compulsory
- 5 Years’ experience as a Registered Nurse with recent psychiatric experience will be an advantage
- Post basic qualification / busy studying; Nursing Management, this will serve as a recommendation
- Previous Management experience will be an advantage
- Outstanding interpersonal and excellent communication skills
- Fluency in English and another language (Fully bilingual)
- Intermediate knowledge of computer software packages including Microsoft packages
- High energy levels / tolerance of stress / assertiveness
- Quality patient care orientation
