To ensure that the overall Trade Budget is achieved by providing a full sales support function to the Trade In-Field team
This includes capturing orders generated by the Trade team, ensuring orders reach the customers and working closely with finance to ensure accurate capturing of new customers, statements and credit notes
In addition, Sales Support is responsible for telephonic sales to the existing customer when required by the sales team
FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Loading and ongoing maintenance of all new and existing customers on Sage
Quote Generation and Order Processing for all Inland Trade customers that are received via Distribution centres, Trade Reps and Georep.
Calling existing customers and take orders on a daily basis when the in-field team has failed to complete a required call.
Build excellent relationships with all customers
Ensure orders are processed within prescribed time frames and upsell existing customer orders by suggesting the new and bestselling ranges to be added to order
Keep track of internal stock on hand and update the field team.
When required, follow up on order delivery statuses, credit notes and statements
Matric or NQF equivalent
Experience on Sage – advantageous
1-2 Years FMCG background – advantageous
Effective journey planning – geographical knowledge of South African territories
