Sales Consultant – Medical Software

The role of the Sales Consultant is to generate new Medical Software Specialist contracts through effective selling and consistently growing monthly Sales income, in a designated territory

In addition, to build strong relationships and continually sell the Medical Software value-added benefits in-line with the client retention strategy

 

FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Generate new Medical Software contracts through effective selling and consistently grow monthly Sales income

Maintain existing customers through implementation of an effective client retention strategy

Achieve/exceed agreed upon Sales targets and outcomes within sales cycle

Educate customers about the features and benefits of the Medical Software through ensuring a high level of knowledge of Medical Software, Funders and Practice Management

Build and maintain productive relationships with existing and new clients

Effectively planning and organizing to ensure required coverage and frequency of clients in the designated area

Follow up on all potential leads and cold calls provided

Provide feedback to Management

Submit weekly reports on TMS

Analyze the available reports to track progress to your targets

Monitor competitors by gathering marketplace information

Resolve customer complaints by investigating, creating and managing solutions

Coordinate own Sales efforts, within the team and within other departments, including the relevant in-Field Consultants in your designated area

Continually upskill knowledge through ongoing training

Achieve set standards in training

Assist and support Practices and Practice staff to more efficiently use our system, where required

 

REQUIREMENTS

A proven track record in sales which shows achievement and recognition in previous positions

At least 3 years successful selling experience

Knowledge of the medical industry

Adaptable and flexible

Excellent communication and listening skills

Good organizational skills: Planning and time management

Excellent sales and interpersonal skills

Ability to build customer relationships

Ability to work under pressure

Energy, enthusiasm and integrity

Positive attitude

Ability to think on your feet

Confident and professional

Customer centric

Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word and Power Point

Code 08 license, own reliable motor vehicle and cell phone
