Managing the Medical Company’s Technical Department within a National territory as part of the Technical strategy



  • To support the medical portfolio and Technical portfolio to existing and new customers
  • Calling on Specialist Surgeons and working alongside in Operating Theatres
  • Calling on relevant theatre staff and Clinical Engineering departments
  • Set strategy’s to achieve growth in the Medical Company’s Hospital products
  • To solve customer queries and complaints
  • Manage the Technical Team and their day to day activities
  • Manage Application Specialists and their day to day activities
  • Prepare Annual Preventative Maintenance Schedule on current ESU installed base
  • Procurement and Inventory Management on ESU portfolio
  • Procurement and Inventory Management on Technical Spares
  • Continuous relationship building with all stakeholders
  • Plan appointments and specifications for Demonstrations and in-service training
  • Assisting Sales people in theatre demonstrations
  • Prepare for Demonstrations i.e. arranging Equipment and accessories to conduct and complete Demonstrations
  • Compile and submit relevant reports
  • Customer visits, building relationships with KOL’s
  • New Product launches
  • Attending occasional Congresses and workshops
  • Product training of sales team as well as customers
  • Attending product launches and training
  • Monthly progress presentations to EXCO.
  • Attending weekly sales meetings
  • Leading Weekly Technical Meetings
  • Regular co-travel with sales people nationally
  • Willing to travel extensively
  • Preference will be given to AA candidates with required skills



  • Strong Medical Background within Hospital Environment
  • National Technical Diploma or Degree
  • At least 5 years medical Sales experience with related in Theatre and in-service experience
  • At least 2 years Technical experience with related Medical Equipment
  • Experience in new business development, sales and marketing required
  • Established Key relationships within this territory
  • Fluent in English and a Secondary Language
  • Excel Skills
  • Valid drivers’ license
