Procurement Assistant – FMCG / Textile Sectors – Montague Gardens – Cape Town


The Procurement Assistant will be responsible to support the procurement team in all related procurement functions:

Generate Purchase Orders

Generate Freight Rebate Spreadsheets

Preparing Monthly Procurement Reports

Processing GRV’s

Assisting with Monthly Procurement Cycle

Maintenance of Non Stock Expense Issue Purchases



Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a procurement administrator within a manufacturing environment

Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables / Graphs & V-lookup – ESSENTIAL)

Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Abilities

Knowledge of Operating systems (SYSPRO experience Advantageous)

Ability to establish effective working relationships with suppliers

Analytical Skills

Negotiation Skills



Purchasing Methods

Basic Freight

Understanding of Supply and Demand

Experience in purchasing of Raw Materials as well as finished Goods
