Requirements:
- A relevant Pharmaceutical qualification (B.Pharm.Degree or Dip.Pharm) or equivalent NQF 7 qualification
- Registration with the South African Pharmacy Council as Pharmacist
- Advanced level of Computer Literacy
- Previous experience in the management of a private hospital pharmacy would be advantageous
The main purpose of this position:
The Pharmacy Manager will be responsible for ensuring the development and implementation of a strategy for the pharmacy department in line with Lenmed Pharmacy Division’s strategic themes.
The incumbent will further manage all related pharmacy services and activities according to the policies, procedures, philosophy and objectives of our clients Group.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage the pharmacy financials as well as understanding the financial fundamentals of the healthcare business
- Management of patient pharmaceutical care in the hospital comprising both hospital and retail pharmacy environments.
- Ensure that the pharmaceutical standards, quality assurance and risk management is maintained within the hospital
- Leverage appropriate internal and external channels to ensure urgent filling of critical vacancies with a specific emphasis on Pharmacists position
