Job Description
- Ensure optimal operational efficiency and capacity from pre-admissions to final submission and payment of patient accounts.
- Maximize revenue and prevent account rejections and bad debts by ensuring correct billing, coding and case management practices are in place.
- Ensure optimal collection capabilities to achieve cash flow targets.
- Identifying improvement opportunities to optimise billing.
- Manage the accuracy and integrity of the patient administration system data.
- Manage departmental processes and staff performance.
- Develop capacity and skills to meet the business objectives.
- Maintain the Patient Services Department policies and procedures and ensure compliance.
- Detailed data analysis and reporting to identify trends and problem areas.
- Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements
Business-Related Degree.
• Nursing Qualification will be an added advantage.
• 5-7 years’ experience as a Patient Services Manager in a Private Hospital.
• ICD-10 and CPT coding knowledge.
• Trimed Patient Administration System experience will be an advantage.
• Advanced computer literacy (including the use of excel on a high level).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Revenue Cycle Management experience.

• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Good time management skills.
• Good communication skills.
