Requirements:
Current registration with SANC as a Registered Nurse
Post Basic qualification in Child Healthcare / Paediatric Nursing Science or Critical Care Nursing
BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
PALS (Paediatric Advanced Life Support) Certification
Proof of Hepatitis B vaccination
Understanding of regulatory requirements
Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
Highly motivated, energetic and able to handle pressure
Duties & Responsibilities:
Support the Unit Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Ward
Provide visible leadership and ensure high standards of patient care are maintained
Plan, lead and supervise staff to ensure optimal patient care delivery
Ensure compliance with infection prevention and control (IPC), quality, and safety standards
Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and patient care plans
Manage stock usage and ensure adherence to company policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
