Job Overview

The National Sales manager Cardiovascular is responsible for leading and executing the national sales strategy for the company’s cardiovascular medical device portfolio. This includes driving sales growth, managing sales teams, overseeing strategic account development across the country and building strong relationships with hospitals, interventional cardiologists and all other relevant stakeholders. This role ensures profitable growth while upholding compliance with the medical device regulations and ethical standards

 

Job Description

  • Develop and implement a national sales strategy aligned with the company and suppliers goals.
  • Lead, coach, and manage a team of clinical specialists to ensure optimal performance.
  • Guide and develop areas for improvement
  • Support ongoing development as part of individual growth
  • Create a cohesive, high-performing team, through regular team interactions
  • Sales budget setting, considering market dynamics, sales history, market share and industry trends.
  • Drive achievement of annual sales targets.
  • Represent the company at congresses, meetings and the like and ensure the Company Medical brand is well presented.
  • Analyse sales data, trends, and customer feedback to refine strategies and forecast performance.
  • Ensure effective product positioning, pricing strategies, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Drive adoption of new technologies through engagement with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and decision-makers.
  • Build strong relationships with KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders), Cardiologists, procurement officers, and other healthcare decision-makers.
  • Identify and develop key accounts including hospitals and hospital groups.
  • Monthly reporting to track YTD sales performance and performance against planned strategies
  • Monitor competitive activity and market trends to proactively adjust strategies.
  • Support the tendering process to ensure all related products are positioned at the right price.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, regulatory, technical and operations teams to ensure successful product strategy implementation, product launches, proficient product knowledge, stock management and ongoing customer satisfaction.
  • Play an active role in ensuring effective stock management through ensuring, regular consignment checks are performed,  issues are resolved, accounts have the stock they require, low stock expiry takes place
  • Ensure full adherence to compliance standards including those related to medical device regulations and ethical sales practices.

 

Minimum Requirements

  • Relevant medical qualification and clinical experience
  • Presentation skills
  • MS Office
  • Sage experience
  • 5 Years sales experience
  • 3 – 5 years in a management role
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written)
