Medical Sales Representative – Surgical Portfolio – Western Cape


  • Plan each call in line with department sales strategy
  • Prepare a weekly plan where you make appointments to visit your customer base
  • Assist the customer to plan their orders
  • Promote and sell Medical Products to all allocated customers
  • Strive to meet and exceed sales quotas as set by the Company
  • Provide the Sales Manager with accurate up-to-date market related statistics
  • Ensure that all reports are accurate and records produced over the month are up-to-date
  • Ensure that you are familiar with your Geographical Area and where your customer base is situated
  • Strive to create a professional relationship with all your customers
  • Establish the training needs of the customer
  • Ensure that your product knowledge is up-to-date at all times
  • Expected to attend conferences over some weekends
  • Expected to do in service trainings after hours
  • Country Trips required to visit Inland and West Coast
  • May be required to work over and above the usual working hours of the company as and when necessary




  • ICU Trained / Nursing Background
  • Min of 2 -5 years’ Sales experience in the Medical Field
  • Must have knowledge of the customers in the Western Cape area
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Must reside in Cape Town
  • Fully Bilingual
  • Computer Literate
  • Existing Relationships
  • Valid Driver’s License
