KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform in-process and final product Quality Control tests in the laboratory
- Perform Quality Control tests on incoming raw materials
- Assist with calibrating laboratory equipment for incoming and finished products
- Follow all relevant company policies and procedures to ensure product integrity and QC
- Preparation of samples in the R&D laboratory
- Evaluate new or substitute raw materials
- Assist in troubleshooting and correcting problems as they arise in the production
- Carry out other laboratory responsibilities as required by superiors
REQUIREMENTS:
- Matric with Maths (Not Maths Literacy)
- Previous work experience is advantageous but not essential (Lab Graduates are welcome to apply)
- Must be fluent in English & Afrikaans
Skills & Competencies:
- Critical, logical and analytical thinking
- Written, verbal and oral communication in at least English
- Well organised with attention to detail
- Ability to adhere to correct works instructions, procedures and operating manuals
- Must be self-motivated
- Must be extremely flexible-to respond to urgent and unplanned demands
