Our Client, based in the Food Industry, has a vacancy for a Junior Production Supervisor based in Cape Town

Lead a small production team in an upstart Vegetable processing company.
This position manages the vegetable processing plant and needs to oversee all aspects of what this company produces and delivers to its clients.

Minimum qualification is a Matric or Grade 12
2-3 years working experience in the food and beverage industry would be a requirement
Understanding of Food production and Health and Safely.
Leadership experience is essential
Computer literacy is required
Good timekeeping ability is essential
Good understanding of the various steps in vegetable processing and packaging.
The ability to manage other`s and think outside the box is important
Must be fluent is both English and Afrikaans, while a 3rd language would be an advantage
Basic mathematics is a requirement
Must have own reliable transport as occasional overtime will be worked by the staff and the supervisor will be expected to open early or stay late as is required.
