Seeking a vibrant and driven individual to compliment and assist our growing sales team with order taking and backup service
This individual will support our sales team by taking customer orders, tracking orders and ensure that deliveries are done on time in a pressured environment
The individual will also deal directly with customers and conduct over the counter sales and provide advice to walk in customers
A person that is customer service driven, willing to learn and help in a support function, will excel in this position
FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
To assist external sales team internally with customer requests and service delivery.
Attending to customer needs whilst working closely with the sales team.
With time to provide colour guidance and basic paint advice to customers.
Assist walk in customers

General office duties
Must be in possession of a Grade 12 Certificate
Sales office experience preferred
Paint experience not a requirement but will be advantageous. (Could increase salary range depending on candidate)
Willingness to learn the basics of paint and colour
Willingness to build good professional relationships with customers over the phone as well as in person
Must be driven and have a passion for high service standards
Must be a team player and willing to work closely with the sales team and together with colleagues and support staff
Computer literacy and proper working knowledge of MS Office computer packages to compile emails, quotes and to master the in-house accounting system
Ability to deal with a large workload whilst prioritizing and scheduling without dropping the ball
Hands-on approach to problem solving
