Half Day (Afternoons only) – German speaking Personal Assistant – Cape Town

Our client is looking for a new team member, an Office Manager / PA to join them, a small, friendly and professional team that develops challenging games and a wonderful weather app in Berlin and Cape Town with freelancers worldwide

This position will be a permanent half-day position with approximately 20 working hours per week based in Central Cape Town
The ideal candidate must be fluent in English and German – NON NEGOTIABLE

 

Organizational talent in the online jungle:

You don’t miss anything. You have the ability to stay on top of each task and keep track of things in the chaotic
world of emails, passwords, flexible appointments, upcoming renewals, deadlines, and the other hectic things
that tend to make up our day

Over the course of our workday, they use dozens of internet-based services, such as Apple Connect, Basecamp,
Dropbox, AdMob, Upwork, PayPal, TransferWise, SurveyMonkey, eSign services, and more

Overseeing all of this can be a fine art; when, for example, a credit card is expiring or we have changes in data, it can get a little crazy
Google research is also very important, as is the ability to independently find solutions to new and sometimes challenging tasks
Additionally, you will take on minor HR tasks for our small core team, e.g. update contracts, keep track of leave days, monthly salary payments

Personal Assistant to Management:

Luckily, there is only one person on their management team! Their director, however, he will keep you busy
He would prefer to spend his time developing apps, and is looking for someone who can take over everything else

Your tasks will be to monitor all business email communication for the director and automatically add new contacts, schedule and organize appointments, award contracts to freelancers, and organize payments

You should also be able to do this based on monitoring email communication

The personal assistant part of the job will also include helping to organize the director’s Airbnb guesthouse bookings, scheduling maintenance appointments, be the first contact in emergency situations around the house, handling insurance claims, renewal of licenses
