Group Marketing Assistant (Hospital Group) – Constantia Kloof


  • Relevant Marketing-related Degree/Diploma
  • 1 – 2+ years generalist marketing experience, Private healthcare experience would be advantageous
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with online marketing and social media strategies
  • Public Relations knowledge and experience
  • Relevant governance and compliance knowledge
  • Relevant systems knowledge, including sound knowledge of the full MS Office suit


The main purpose of this position:

The group’s marketing assistant supports the work of the group marketing department through the planning, actioning and maintaining the administrative requirements of the department


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Policy compliance
  • Facilitating hospital auditing
  • Compilation of payment schedules and assurance of payment to suppliers
  • Digital and social media coordination including management and assistance of content planning / calendars and development of content using All social media platforms and website
  • Brand management and communication support including ensuring brand guidelines / corporate identity compliance at all levels at all facilities as mandated by Group Policies
  • Sharing of media releases and communications across all digital and traditional media platforms as requested and approved by the Group Marketing Manager only
  • Assist the Group Marketing Manager and all hospitals with advertising projects
  • Weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting of all PR stats to the Group Marketing Manager or as and when needed
  • Assisting all hospitals with queries on the Cx System including reporting, system data updates, survey setup management when required and daily queries
  • Quarterly and yearly visits to all hospitals to ensure compliance to Group, legal and other regulatory body standard at all levels
  • Coordination of all branding and marketing ordering
  • Monitoring of all marketing platforms
  • Assist the Head office PA’s with board meetings only as requested by the Group
  • Marketing Manager
  • Assist the Group Marketing Manager and Group Human Resources with the staff rewards and recognition program
  • Highly organised with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Must be analytical and attentive to detail
  • Good communication and relationship building skills
