Requirements:
- Registration with SANC as a Professional Nurse
- At least two – five year’s relevant experience in a Trauma / Emergency Unit
- Post Basic Qualification essential (Trauma / ICU)
- Management experience would be advantageous
- Excellent Leadership qualities and mentoring skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational and problem-solving skills
- The skill to manage nursing standards and in-service training
- Maintain a professional image and character
- Accurate administration skills
- Commitment to initiate and implement continuous improvement projects

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Management of staff within the company’s IR policies, Basic Conditions of Employment and the Disciplinary Code
- Ensure adherence to policies and procedures at all times
- Management of staffing in accordance with the company policies
- Manage the day to day problem solving, including stock control
- Conduct regular Quality focus rounds
- Maintain infection control strategies and procedures of the hospital
- Maintain health and safety principles
- Focus on Quality Care
- Evaluation, intervention and resolution of patient complaints and queries
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports
- Manage ad hoc projects as and when required
