We are currently in search of an experienced Butchery Manager for our client’s store based in the Springbok area of the Northern Cape
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ butchery experience
- Must have POS experience
- Must have dealt with CIT companies
- Possess knowledge of original cuts of meats, including chicken, pork and beef
- Able to achieve high standards in hygiene, cutting, packing, merchandising and customer service
- Basic computer skills (MS Excel)
- Ability to function well under pressure
- Must have a valid driver’s license with own vehicle
- Must live within the Springbok area or immediate surrounds – ESSENTIAL
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily running of the butchery
- Manage a team of 15-20 people
- Control, order, manage stock and calculate GP
- Perform daily cash-ups, floats and banking
- Open and close butchery
