Business Intelligence – Data Analytics – Johannesburg – Gauteng


To support the medical company with data analytics and data modelling to support in developing a deeper and more consistent understanding of the business and the customers they serve



To support the Management Team by extracting data from SAP and Business Intelligence system to provide regular reports and update dashboards relating to key customers; the business e.g. daily sales and data accessed from customers data systems


To support sales management through reports generated from and SAP systems

To support sales team with weekly information on their sales and key customers together with their ranking within the teams

To support the organization as a super-user for excel and other management systems e.g. SAP

To provide the Management & Sales Teams regular updates on competitors. Develop and maintain associated databases

Identify, analyse and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets

Perform any other reasonable duties that may arise as directed by the Management Team of PHZA




Relevant tertiary education

Minimum 3 years data analytical experience, healthcare industry preferred

Experience in SAP BI (not Business One),, business warehouse, Qlikview desired

SAP System data mining experience

Business Intelligence System data mining experience

Knows the business – understands data management within a medical device/healthcare environment – Upholds the high standards of working in a medical device business including policies and procedures, legal, corporate and local as well as ISO13485 and the MDR as it applies to the company’s products

Planning, organizing and prioritising – plans work activities, reviews and prioritises as necessary to achieve high standards and meet deadlines

Team working – works with others across the organization to accomplish goals, identify, and resolve problems
