We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our client’s technical team as a Product Development Technologist
The candidate applying for this position must have experience working within an organisation that manufactures and supplies foods, flavouring and seasoning and have a minimum of 2 years product development experience within the field
Job Description
Formulate new flavours based on customer requirements and market trends
Flavour modification on existing products
Develop and manipulate application formulation to the customer requirements
Compounding of samples
Conducting sensory panels
Sourcing new ingredients and evaluating raw materials
Compiling of product specifications and process methods
Minimum Requirements
Diploma/Degree – Food Technology/Food Science
2-5 years’ experience in a Product Development Role
Proficient with Excel & Word
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Manage deadlines effectively
Proven product development track record
Technical Requirement:
Understand the key steps in development
Know how to put a Flavour/Seasoning formulation together
Excellent sensory and olfactory skills
Basic understanding of regulations relating to product development
Interpret customer briefs and meet their requirements
