The Enrolled Nurse is responsible for promoting and delivering quality patient care and wellness in accordance with industry standards, while performing nursing duties within the standards, procedures and protocols prescribed by SANC and the applicable Scope of Practice
Requirements:
Grade 12
Enrolled Nursing qualification
Current registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC)
BLS qualification advantageous
Critical Care Unit experience
Previous private hospital experience advantageous
Computer proficiency advantageous
Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform nursing duties in accordance with SANC, Department of Health and National Core Standards
Maintain appropriate standards of patient advocacy and patient rights
Plan, organise, assess and prioritise work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
Maintain a safe, therapeutic and clean clinical environment, reducing medico-legal risk
Accurately document patient care
Maintain accurate records relating to pharmaceuticals and ensure medication is administered and charged according to prescribed standard
