The Bookkeeper will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity of the organisation
This position will be responsible for overseeing debtors’ management, performing reconciliations, and assisting the finance team with various financial queries

Job Description
Debtors Management:
Generate and analyse debtors’ reports to ensure accurate financial tracking
Manage debtors’ queries and reconciliations, maintaining positive relationships with clients
Process invoices, credit notes, and refunds efficiently
Reconciliations:
Perform bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting
Reconcile debit/credit card accounts and manage daily and monthly journal entries
Conduct intercompany reconciliations and journal entries
Analyse and reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts, posting journal entries as required
Budget Management:
Assist in loading budgets and addressing budget-related queries
Ad-hoc Responsibilities:
Support the finance team with other related queries from both the CPT and JHB teams
Assist in capturing turnover declarations, franchise fees, and concessions
Collaborate with the creditor’s team to manage high-volume payment processing
Oversee debit orders and EFT payment requirements
Contribute to cash book reconciliations and respond to ad-hoc finance team requests
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Proven experience in financial management, particularly in debtors and reconciliations
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and ability to maintain positive client relationships
Proficiency in accounting software (Pastel evolution) and MS Excel
